Kicking off with a round up the best of Immersive and Experiential Events from autumn 2019.
Award Winning Agency of the Year 2019
Winners of the IPM COGS Awards 2019 were announced on Thursday 26th September 2019. In a presentation event at the legendary Café de Paris in Piccadilly, London, the awards showcased the best in #immersive and #experiential production. The event championed and celebrated the incredible work of production agencies like ours, that enable promotional marketing and brand activation campaigns to happen.
Highly anticipated Service Agency of the Year 2019 was awarded to Scene2 and firmly established us as Experts in Immersive Experiences.
The Scene2 team also took home the impressive Silver Award in Experiential Events for our immersive experience at #London Cocktail Week. Working with our friends at #thesunshinecomany, the ‘Absolut Porn Star Martini Townhouse’ was a critically acclaimed #immersive journey, through the ingredients of the infamous cocktail for vodka giants #Absolut.
We are super proud of our achievements to date and are excited about new #theatrical and #immersive experience opportunities in 2020.
PUMA ‘Endorphin Immersive Pop-up store’ – swapping calories with endorphins
August 19 – We enjoyed working closely with our new friends at VICE to create the Puma Endorphin Store pop-up in Shoreditch’s Protein Studio.
The experience was created with experts who prescribed immersive experiences designed to boost endorphins, adrenaline and dopamine – after being provided with a pair of Puma LQD CELL shoes!
Exercise 1 – Yoga amongst pulsating immersive light baton forest with polished acrylic rods and colour scrolling LEDs led into Exercise 2 – Interactive light-up floor cells activated by fast-paced rhythmic dance and finally Exercise 3 – Sounds of different music genres set the pace for exercise.
Interactive immersive pop-ups and experiences are providing the world of sportswear a new vehicle for launching new product ranges in the real-world resonance with great PR and Instagram value.
“This event was about changing people’s perception of fitness; from a tedious chore to a mood enhancing and joyous experience. By the end of their visit, guests will understand the importance of getting moving and releasing endorphins for their mental and physical wellness.” Jodie Sayer, team head performance marketing at Puma.
#Scene2 loves this project with VICE for PUMA – it was a team favourite project of the late summer with its clean cut, crisp design, high quality finish, simple interactive sensory journey and high Instagram value.
#LighterThanAir – delicate giant sculpture meets featherlight technology
October 19 – Working closely with our new friends at The Department, commuters celebrated the launch of the HP Elite Dragonfly #LighterThanAir in this beautiful touring set.

“The Aeronauts” Film Premiere
November 2019 – Hollywood film stars Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne reunited on the red carpet for the #filmpremiere of The Aeronauts at Odeon Luxe, Leicester Square.
“Our fibreglass carved, Hot Air Balloons became the photo opportunity of the night. Images flooded social media as the film’s stars stood by the beautifully crafted props. 11 smaller sized, up-lit balloons were flown above the red carpet with a larger version provided the perfect backdrop for press photos. The client loved the balloons so much, 6 more were ordered for the US market!” Andy Dixon CEO Scene2
Each balloon was individually hand crafted by our expert prop makers, spray finishers and seamstresses. Working with close attention to detail to the visuals, every tiny detail was included from hand carved wooden sandbags to woven netting coverings for the balloons.

The Store X The Vinyl Factory presented an immersive a/v exhibition “Other Spaces” with United Visual Artists at 180 The Strand. This was an amazing architectural light installation that transported you to another world…
“Luminarium Arboria”
London’s Lloyd Park in Walthamstow welcomed this immersive light experience on 23 & 24 Nov and was brought to us by Architects of Air.
