Scene2’s creative brief: evolve the successful Alcotraz universe into a brand-new magical chapter – swapping prohibition bars for enchanted prison blocks, mystical contraband and spell-bound mixology.
Working closely with Inventive Productions’ creative team, Scene2 designed and fabricated:
- 20 immersive cells and theatrical spaces
- Bespoke scenic environments and period-inspired detail
- Interactive elements enhancing audience agency and story beats
- Fabrication optimised for live performance and character-driven cocktail theatre
All elements were built under one roof at Scene2’s17,000 sq ft workshop— combining metalwork, carpentry, scenic finishing and fibreglass fabrication — before installation at the Hackney Road venue.
