Working alongside Pixel Artworks, Scene2 delivered the physical environment, transforming the creative concept into a fully realised experiential activation.
The installation centred around a 10-metre geodesic dome positioned to maximise visibility and create a dramatic focal point for projected content from the film.
Workshop & Fabrication
Scene2 fabricated and installed the dome, creating an immersive environment inspired by the world of Rebel Moon.
A field of wheat was carefully constructed around the structure and enhanced with concealed LED lighting to create a striking visual effect during evening operation. The installation was designed to provide multiple visitor viewpoints and photo opportunities while reinforcing the themes and aesthetic of the film.

Project Overview
To promote the launch of Netflix’s sci-fi blockbuster Rebel Moon, Scene2 partnered with Pixel Artworks to deliver a striking large-scale activation on the banks of the River Thames. Positioned beneath the iconic backdrop of Tower Bridge, the installation was designed to generate attention, create social media engagement and immerse audiences in the visual world of the film.
The centrepiece of the activation was a monumental 10-metre-diameter geodesic dome, transformed into a projection surface displaying dynamic video content from the series. Set against one of London’s most recognisable landmarks, the installation created a powerful visual statement that attracted visitors, passers-by and media attention alike.
Surrounding the structure, Scene2 created an atmospheric field of wheat inspired by the film’s distinctive visual identity. Concealed LED lighting was integrated throughout the installation, transforming the environment after dark and creating a dramatic, cinematic setting. Together, the illuminated landscape and projected content provided visitors with a highly Instagrammable destination and an immersive introduction to the world of Rebel Moon.
