In partnership with The Department and to promote the launch of the new Dragonfly Elite Laptop, Scene2 designed and produced a giant dragonfly-inspired, sculptural installation for touring selected UK high footfall locations.
Giant Dragonfly wings were created using layered 5mm clear acrylic sheet which were spray painted and laminated with dichroic film, printed transparent vinyl, CNC cut Dibond with an iridescent finish and addressable LED tape. The result was shimmering and colourful – just like a dragonfly’s wings.
The HP laptops were heroed on bespoke plinths with rotating magnetic levitation devices to highlight the #LighterThanAir messaging.
