Scene2’s Solution

Design & Production

Working with Stir Creative, Scene2 brought Tropicana’s #BeMoreKid campaign to life through a large-scale experiential activation at one of London’s busiest train stations.

The campaign was designed to encourage commuters to reconnect with their sense of fun and embrace their inner child. At the centre of the activation was a giant four-poster bed, inviting members of the public to step out of their daily routine and engage with the brand in a memorable and unexpected way.

Workshop

Scene2 produced what became the largest bed ever installed at King’s Cross Station, creating a fully branded experiential structure built around a professional-grade trampoline system.

The installation featured an oversized four-poster bed frame, giant branded duvet and custom-made pillows, all designed to maximise visual impact within the station environment. The build combined structural engineering and branded finishing to create a safe and engaging public activation capable of withstanding high visitor interaction throughout the campaign.

Installation & Delivery

Our team managed the delivery and installation of the activation within the station environment, carefully coordinating logistics and build operations to maintain the highest safety standards.

The completed installation transformed a busy commuter space into an interactive experience, encouraging visitors to physically engage with the campaign and enjoy a moment of fun during their journey.

Project Overview

As part of its nationwide #BeMoreKid campaign, Tropicana set out to inspire people to rediscover the positivity, optimism and spontaneity often associated with childhood. Research commissioned by the brand revealed that many adults felt they had lost their sense of fun, prompting the creation of an experiential campaign designed to inject joy into the daily commute.

Working alongside Stir Creative, Scene2 was appointed to fabricate and install the campaign’s centrepiece activation at King’s Cross Station. The concept centred around the country’s largest bed, giving commuters the opportunity to bounce on a giant trampoline bed while receiving samples of Tropicana’s new Strawberry & Banana juice.

The installation featured a bespoke four-poster bed structure complete with oversized branded bedding and integrated trampoline technology. Positioned within one of London’s busiest transport hubs, the activation attracted attention from commuters, visitors and media alike, creating a highly shareable experience that aligned perfectly with the campaign’s playful message.

By combining experiential design, scenic fabrication and practical engineering, Scene2 created a memorable brand activation that successfully connected audiences with the #BeMoreKid message in a fun and engaging way.

Challenges We Overcame

Installing Within a Train Station

Delivering a large-scale activation inside King’s Cross Station required careful logistical planning, strict adherence to operational requirements and efficient installation.

Creating a Safe Interactive Experience

The activation centred around a fully functioning trampoline bed designed for public use. Ensuring visitor safety while maintaining the playful nature of the experience was a key consideration throughout the design and fabrication process.

Delivering Maximum Visual Impact

The installation needed to capture the attention of thousands of commuters passing through the station. Oversized scenic elements, strong branding and interactive participation were combined to create an experience that stood out within a busy environment.

Results

The #BeMoreKid activation successfully transformed a routine commuter journey into a memorable and engaging brand experience.

The giant trampoline bed attracted significant public attention, encouraging visitors to interact directly with the campaign while sampling Tropicana’s new Strawberry & Banana juice. The installation created a highly shareable moment that reinforced the campaign’s core message of positivity, playfulness and embracing your inner child.

The project demonstrated Scene2’s expertise in delivering large-scale experiential activations that combine scenic finishes, structural engineering and audience engagement within challenging public environments.
