Creative reuse of materials wherever possible, has always been high on our environmental agenda.

Single use products in an industry where everything is required new, different and “never been seen before” by clients, is usually a standard requirement. With most bespoke builds having a short life span disposal swiftly follows a de-rig. With storage space at a premium, end clients do not want to keep hold of a stand or asset which has been used before and certainly do not want to pay for it to be sat in a container and forgotten about by the marketing team.

At last, we are seeing a recycling and upcycling revolution within our industry. Our sustainability creds have placed us as a market leader in design, build and production for experiential & immersive events. Our sustainability policy holds a presence of importance in our quotes and we are proud to send over details of our working practices to new clients, ahead of collaboration of projects.

Only last week, we were proud to put our upcycling focus into practice in the form of a project called “Brum Breathes” which celebrates an increase in clean air by Birmingham City Council. Working closely with our friends at Sense Marketing, we upcycled 3 cars, rescuing them literally from the scrap heap and restoring them to nearly new for this giant installation piece.

With a coat of bright white car paint, fresh blue LED lighting inside and attached to 3D sculpted clouds, these 3 cars which were destined for the crusher, helped spread the clear air message by appearing to float in front of the Bullring Shopping Centre.
